This is good for backpack travelers. I wonder if there is a backpack that can be converted to a bed.

Nice tips. I use a Coleman double sleeping bag when going out camping. I find it comfy to sleep in though it's heavier than two L.L.Bean sleeping bags zipped together, and carries a shorter five-year warranty. It's a budget Coleman double sleeping bag though so it's worth the effort expended to carry it around. :)

Personally I swear by down sleeping bags as they are both light and ultra warm!! Another important thing to remember when trying to keep warm whilst your out camping is to have a sufficient under mat to lay on. This stops all your heat being transferred straight down into the ground.

oh, cool! thanks for the tips, i was just looking to buy a new sleeping bag and needed some direction... i think i will choose a down sleeping bag as i need something light - i'm going on a backpacking trip and might need to camp once in a while, so i need something durable but small and light. oh, and something warm too! i'll have a look at mountain equipment... cheers!
