For us, to be honest, the commercial proposition of a percentage on sales was a much bigger concern. The tag structure we're working on is a product attribute structure, that allows comparison and search on things like materials (eg gore tex), fabrics, sole units, and ties into our fixed navigation as well as search. It wasn't immediately apparent how this would work with Shopify, but to be fair, we never gave it a go.
